Warrant of Fitness
The regular safety check every road-going vehicle in New Zealand needs to stay legal.
We check the parts that keep you safe — brakes, tyres, steering, suspension, lights, glass, structure and belts. If something fails you get told what it is, why it failed and what it costs, before any work starts.

Vehicle servicing
Routine servicing that keeps a vehicle running the way it should.
Oil and filter, fluids, filters and a proper look over everything else while it is up on the hoist. You get told what will need attention next time, so nothing arrives as a surprise.

Brakes and clutch
The two systems you notice the moment they stop working properly.
Pads, discs, drums, fluid and handbrakes. Clutch repair and replacement. Brakes get measured rather than guessed at — the numbers come back with the quote.

Auto electrical
Electrical faults traced and repaired, not swapped at until they go away.
Batteries, charging, starting, lighting and wiring. Slow to turn over, a dash light that is new, or something that only misbehaves when it rains — those all get traced.

Steering and suspension
Shocks, struts, bushes and the steering components between them.
A car that wanders, thumps over a joint, or wears one edge off a tyre is telling you something. Steering and suspension components replaced and the alignment set afterwards.

Diagnostics
Finding out what is actually wrong before anything gets replaced.
Warning lights, odd noises and faults that only happen sometimes. The point is to identify the cause and explain it plainly, so you can decide what to do about it.

Cooling systems, exhausts, cambelts, water pumps and the rest of it. Most makes, most models, and no age limit — old cars are welcome here.

The one rule
You will know what it costs before we touch it.
A look first, then a phone call, then a number. Nothing is replaced until you have said yes to it, and if the job grows past the number you get a second call.
Booking
Jobs that need the day
One trading day each week is shorter than the others. A job that keeps a vehicle on the hoist most of the day is not booked into it, so 4 of the 8 above go on the longer days only:
You do not have to work any of that out. The booking form only offers the days that suit the job you pick.
